As Kamden would say, Monday was G. Pa's (Great Grandpa) birthday and America's Birthday.
I love fireworks. That's one of the benefits to living here - we can have fireworks (when we lived in AZ we couldn't) and if you want, you can celebrate twice, on the 4th and the 24th. Usually we spend so much money on fireworks for the 4th, I don't see the need to celebrate on the state holiday! This year the law changed, aerial fireworks were legal, and it was awesome! Driving home from my parents there were mini-firework shows everywhere! We kinda had a 2 day celebration - Sunday for my brother-in-law, his girlfriend, and their daughter so she could try out the kiddie pool and see fireworks, and then on Monday.
Sunday:
{Kamden with some confetti poppers}
{Talk about a smoke blower :)}
{Fascinated - you can see the sparkler reflection in her eyes}
{My cute niece - it was her first 4th of July!}
{Poor Kole developed a major body wide rash - no idea what it was from (he's much better now)}
{That really does spell his name, with an extra k, and a backwards n...}
Monday:
{Look, no training wheels - he's riding his bike by himself! (It's been a battle...) however, to stop the bike, he does not use brakes - he bails and jumps off!}
{Trying to see what her brothers are up to} {This is the only pic I have
in the whole outfit
- she's tu tu cute!}
{They get into their pop things (sorry, can't think of what to call them!)}
{To Kole, pictures are quite painful}
{Whew, the painful picture taking look is gone! And, his rash looks better on his face!}
{Glow sticks, a 4th of July favorite!}
Sorry, no other fireworks pictures - it was too hard holding a baby and the camera!
